Pinterest: The hottest website start-up

Regardless of the social media site, you're bound to run across a link or reference to Pinterest. Wait, what? Pinterest? Pinterest is a newly launched website, also known as an online bulletin board. Users can save photos from anywhere on the Internet to their boards, which can be organized to their heart's desires.

It can be easy to dislike Blackboard

It can be easy to hate Blackboard; Drury's content management system may seem like a hassle to navigate, but its benefits outweigh its shortcomings. "I think a lot of the complaints about Blackboard come from people who haven't really used it before," said Andy Nelson, Drury's online technical support facilitator.

Fanthers claim top national prize

The Drury Fanthers student athletic support group was recently honored as the winner of the Division-II "Game Environment Award of Excellence" for 2011. The award was announced at the NCAA Convention on January 14 in Indianapolis, Ind., and the crystal trophy was presented during the annual D-II Business Meeting that same day.

Drury intramural tennis club

Drury's Tennis Club may be small, but it has grown since it was first created in 2009. Initially started by students Alex Wiley, Ian Rowslawski, Spencer Anderson, and Lindsey Castrodale as a way to find someone to hit with, today the club has fifteen members.

Three shows finish off DU theatre season

The final shows in the Drury 2011-2012 theatre season have been cast. Earlier this week, around 50 people met with the directors at an open audition, where they each read two contrasting monologues. All 42 parts were officially cast on Tuesday evening, after callbacks.
