Barack Obama recently passed his one year mark for being elected in office, but that memorable moment seems to have been pushed aside due to the current media frenzy over his health care reform plan.

The moment in which President Obama was officially named our new president was filled with such emotion and hope for millions across the country.

Barack was not the only one in the spotlight because as Michelle Obama stood proudly next to her husband people were definitlely watching her. Everyone cannot help but remember what she was wearing.

She is the modern Jackie Onassis Kennedy with her cutting edge fashion for a first lady. She is always the best dressed and people cannot help but turn to see what she is wearing when she walks in a room or appears on television.

Just like Jackie O she has been seeing wearing sleeveless dresses throughout her time in the White House. The media seems to feel that it is controversial and inappropriate. Michelle is simply keeping White House fashion young, and fresh.

The media is apparently still addicted to the older First Ladies and the clothes they chose to wear.

Personally, I find it rather refreshing to see such great fashion. I like never knowing what Michelle will wear and what her next choice will be for the next event.

Being the First Lady comes with a lot of responsibility and publicity and in years past it has always meant handling it all in a stiff, overly pressed suit until Michelle Obama came to the White House.

She has been so involved in charitable works not only in this country, but across the world. She volunteers at soup kitchens, is interviewed almost weekly about staying fit, and is an advocate for healthy living especially in children.

Yet, on the one year anniversary of her husbands election into office those things, unfortunately, were not being remembered. Instead, the morning shows and magazines talked about her top 10 outfits during the past year.

I decided to take a look at some of her more memorable fashions choices and share them with you. I looked at several different sources and finally compiled 10 different looks which were her best.
