Earlier this week, several Drury students traveled to Missouri State University to participate in the Midwest Model United Nations conference.
The conference allows regional high school and junior high students the opportunity to represent the countries in the real-life United Nations; they bring their values, beliefs, economic and political circumstances and work together to create resolutions that are beneficial for as many people as possible.
The students from Drury worked as faciliators for the event, and led various committees within the event. Led by professor Dr. Jeff VanDenBerg, the students are members of a class that studies political and social climates of various countires in preparation for the annual conference.
