A trivial end to the semester

The fall season of intramurals wrapped up last week with a first-ever trivia night. A 30-minute first round of play consisted of nine teams answering 100 questions ranging from baseball to golf to olympics. Ten points were awarded for correct answers, ten points were subtracted for incorrect answers and no points were added or subtracted for a blank answer.

The men's basketball team has shown no sign of struggling in making the transition from the Heartland Conference to the Great Lakes Valley Conference. With a record of five wins and one loss, and a conference record 1-1 (at time of printing) the team is ranked fourth out of seven in the West Division of the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

The Drury University Lady Panthers are the No. 2 ranked women's college basketball team nationally in the first regular season USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll released Tuesday, Dec. 6. The Lady Panthers (6-0), trail only defending national champion Washburn in the rankings.
