ANCHORAGE, Alaska-The Lady Panther volleyball team returned to action this past week with opening matches against the University of Alaska-Anchorage and the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. DU posted a 1-3 record in Alaska, with a big win against Fairbanks on Friday.

Panthers ranked 18th

The Drury University men's cross country squad is ranked No. 18 in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association preseason national poll released on Wednesday.

Coach Jon Van Arkel's Panthers are also ranked No. 3 in the Midwest Region preseason poll, trailing only Grand Valley State and Southern Indiana.
