It's the one time of year it's acceptable - if not "normal" - to see six-foot grim reapers standing on the roadway, scare the living daylights out of your best friends, and gorge yourself with sweets of the orange and black variety. Although the retailers have already skipped the holiday in favor of Christmas trees and candy canes, there's still plenty to do in the Ozarks to ring in the most frightful time of year.

Even though fall officially began Sept. 23, the fall festivities are just heating up around the Drury campus. This week, Fall Fest will bring many activities to campus for students. The Theatre Department will kick off its season with Sweet Charity by Neil Simon. With music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Dorothy Fields the musical is directed by Robert Westenberg and will open at 8 p.m. on Oct. 4 in the Wilhoit Theatre. Sweet Charity is the poignant and often hilarious tale of the misadventures of Charity Hope Valentine, a New York dancehall hostess, who is determined, against all odds, to find true love.
Every student has different reasons for attending college but most would agree they ultimately want to find a career they enjoy. Maybe you would like to travel internationally, make tons of money, or work part-time while raising a family. Getting from point A to B can be quite a process.
