Dogs and cats can get sunburnt too

The approach of summer will bring constant reminders about the danger of overexposure to the sun and the need for sunscreen. The dangers are real, and we should all take appropriate measures to prevent skin damage and skin cancer. But, did you know that the family pet is susceptible to many of the same diseases? Dogs, cats and even horses suffer from sunburn, solar dermatitis, and skin cancer.

Every once in awhile there is something that just sticks out. This could be a picture, title or an advertisement. What stuck out to us when choosing this restaurant? We could not get the image of Fire and Ice out of our head. After attending a dance at the Oasis, we wanted to go back and try the food at this hotel that had the floor that sparkled like diamonds (we like sparkles) and a restaurant name that just makes you curious.

Know somebody who likes to brag that he can get by on six hours of sleep a night? Tell him that men who sleep less than seven hours a night have a 26 percent greater death rate over a two-decade period than men who sleep seven to eight hours a night. And children who don't get enough sleep are more likely to be overweight and to have behavioral problems.

Students reported being concerned about wasting food and water, and they expressed concern about the energy efficiency of Drury's buildings.
