Junior, Steve Wilczewski knows how to score

Just four games into the season, Steve Wilczewski has recorded five goals to help his Drury Panther's get off to a undefeated start. Wilczewski leads the team with goals scored and is currently ranked third in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and this week's GLVC Player of the Week.

The Drury University men's cross country team has moved five spots to No. 2 in the Midwest Region rankings released on Tuesday by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The Panthers picked up more good news on Wednesday, when they learned they had cracked the national Top 25 rankings at No.

Fifth place finish at shootout

California, Pa., fired a final-round 300 for a 615 total and cruised to a 10-shot victory over runner-up Upper Iowa to claim team honors in the Drury Fall Shootout at the Murder Rock Golf & Country Club here on Tuesday. Drury, which entered the final round in a three-way tie for the lead with Cal-Pa and Nebraska-Omaha, shot a final round of 330 and finished fifth in the 21-team field with a 645 total.

Drury now 2-0 in Conference

The Drury Panther's claimed a 1-0 victory over Missouri-St. Louis in the Great Lakes Valley Conference women's soccer opener for both schools on Friday. Sarah Colvin-Fritz scored the only goal of the game off of a rebound by UMSL keeper Hannah Sayre. The Panther's claimed a 2-0 victory over Southern Indian in Great Lakes Valley Conference action Sunday afternoon at Harrison Stadium.

Panther's rally over Quincy

QUINCY, Ill. - Drury University's volleyball Panthers rallied from a one-game deficit to capture three straight and beat Quincy 3-1 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play here on Friday night. The Panthers fell 25-18 in the opening set, but charged back to win the final three by scores of 25-20, 25-22 and 25-22.

Wilczewski, Panther's unleash

The Panther's opened up Great Lakes Valley Conference play with a 2-1 victory over Missouri-St. Louis. Junior, Steve Wilczewski scored the first goal of the game off of a header and a Jake Allison assist. Senior, Marco Cherisma added another goal from the assisting Andrew Bordelon and Wilczewski.
