In response to several questions regarding the increasing number of reported cases of the Influenza A virus subtype H1N1, more commonly known as the swine flu, Drury has made an effort of keep students informed regarding the disease. In an email sent out by Dr.
Drury's commitment to sustainability and controlling climate change is one of the issues surrounding the construction of the O'Reilly Family Event Center, a building that President Todd Parnell is promising to be LEED Silver but hopes will have a Gold rating.
Drury's annual Campus Beautification Day, taking place this Thursday starting at 10 a.m., is a time for members of the student body to work with faculty and staff members on the various flower beds scattered throughout campus. "The event started out three years ago in light of the first big icestorm," Karen Adams, campus operations and sustainability, said.

In less than two weeks, approximately 600 Drury students will be faced with the proverbial goodbyes and hellos attached to only one thing: graduation. This year's graduation ceremonies will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 16 with baccalaureate ceremonies for day school students.
